Diaspora

Welcome to all Zimbabweans living in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Embassy is here to keep you connected with home, with each other and with what Zimbabwe is building. Contact the Embassy on any issue of interest to our country, and register your details below.

The Zimbabwe Diaspora Policy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade leads the Government’s work with the diaspora. Its Diaspora Unit coordinates diaspora affairs and mobilises Zimbabweans abroad.

The Zimbabwe Diaspora Policy follows the philosophy of leaving no one and no place behind, and the idea that a nation is built by its own people (Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, Ilizwe lakhiwa ngabanikazi balo), as Zimbabwe works towards upper-middle-income status by 2030. Through it, the Government recognises its responsibility for the interests and welfare of citizens living, studying and working abroad.
