These are some of the projects under way in Zimbabwe. For partnership or investment opportunities in any of them, contact the Embassy or the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA).
Vision 2030

Vision 2030 is Zimbabwe’s plan to become an upper-middle-income economy by 2030. It is carried out through national development strategies that set priorities for infrastructure, industry, mining, agriculture and services.
Sustainable housing

New housing developments aim to meet the demand for homes in the cities, with planned, energy-efficient neighbourhoods.
Upgraded airport

Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare has been expanded with a new terminal, to handle more passengers and flights.
Solar

Solar farms add new, clean generating capacity to the national grid. Zimbabwe welcomes independent power producers in renewable energy.
Farming

Agriculture is the mainstay of the economy. Projects in irrigation, mechanisation and processing aim to raise yields and add value before export.
Transportation

Investment in roads and public transport, including the rebuilding of the main highway from Beitbridge through Harare to Chirundu, links Zimbabwe’s cities with its neighbours.
The projects are those shown on the Embassy's current website. Their descriptions are being completed with the Embassy.
