Sweden and Zimbabwe established diplomatic relations in 1980. Today the Embassy in Stockholm serves the Nordic countries and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Ambassador is resident in Sweden and accredited to the other six countries, which the Embassy covers from Stockholm.
Zimbabweans living in any of these seven countries use the Embassy in Stockholm for consular services.
